The Kangaroo Valley Tourist Association is proud to announce that it has commenced a programme to become one of the developed world's first carbon neutral tourist destinations.
Australia's unique wildlife and plants, and its ancient geology, are at the very heart of our nation's tourism experience. As guardians of Kangaroo Valley we feel passionately about protecting our local fauna and flora which is why we have taken this initiative now.
This programme involves not just the tourist association, but private residents, landholders, farmers, the school and many visitors. It is an example of what a community and its primary industry can do for the good of our planet.
